History & background
Sultan Suleiman Mosque opened in 1932 in Klang — Selangor's royal town and the main gateway to Kuala Lumpur before the modern era. Moorish / Indo-Saracenic design reflects British colonial mosque architecture in Malaya.
Named after Sultan Suleiman Shah, Selangor's ruler during its development. It remains Klang Muslim community's main prayer centre and a symbol of this port town's history.
Klang uses zone SGR03 — differs from Shah Alam (SGR01) and Kuala Lumpur (WLY01). Use Klang's exact timetable, not Shah Alam or KL schedules.
