History & background
Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque is Selangor's state mosque, opened in 1988. Blue and gold domes with a 142 m minaret earn it the nickname Blue Mosque — among Southeast Asia's largest.
Unique half-dome minaret design and separate prayer halls for men and women. It symbolises Shah Alam as Selangor's capital.
