History & background

Tengku Ampuan Jemaah Mosque opened in 2012 in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam. Named after Tengku Ampuan Jemaah — Queen of Selangor — it serves the upscale housing community and nearby Subang residents.

Modern Islamic design with a large dome and separate prayer halls makes it the main Friday mosque for northern Shah Alam. Capacity around 5,000 accommodates the growing nearby population.
