Kampung Kling Mosque was built in 1748 on Jonker Street — Melaka's famous Peranakan area. Unique in Malaysian Islamic architecture — blending Chinese elements (pagoda minaret, decorations) with traditional mosque function, symbolising the Chinese Muslim and Peranakan community.
A symbol of harmony and diversity in UNESCO heritage Melaka. Popular with tourists, but remains active as Kampung Kling community's prayer centre.
