Kampung Hulu Mosque was built in 1728 and remains among Melaka's oldest active timber mosques. Traditional Malay timber structure reflects early Islamic building techniques in Malaya — before concrete and brick became dominant.
It stands in UNESCO heritage Melaka, near Jonker Street and other heritage mosques. A symbol of continuity — the same mosque has served the community for nearly 300 years.
