WLY01 History & background
Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque opened in 2009 and is nicknamed the Iron Mosque for its dominant steel structure. It replaced Putra Mosque as Putrajaya's main Friday mosque due to its larger capacity.
Contemporary design features a column-free prayer hall — allowing an open view for around 20,000 worshippers. It was inaugurated to mark the Yang di-Pertuan Agong's birthday.
Prayer zone WLY01 — same as Kuala Lumpur and all of Putrajaya.
