Qibla direction
The qibla is the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca — JAKIM provides qibla bearings for each prayer zone.
The qibla is the direction of prayer — the Kaaba in Mecca. During salah, worshippers face this direction as accurately as possible.
JAKIM includes a qibla bearing in daily timetable data for each zone (e.g. WLY01 ~292° from north). Use a compass, trusted app, or your zone's qibla page on this site.
On aircraft or where direction is hard to determine, special rulings may apply — see i-Fiqh or JAKIM's MyMuwaqqit for travellers.
